Strawberry Plants

To make the most of the region’s cold temperatures and daylight hours, VIANSA grows strawberry plants at the foothills of the Andes in San Carlos, Mendoza.

Our plants can be supplied as fresh-dug plants with foliage in April, as cut-off plants without foliage in April and May, or as frigo/dormant plants, cold-stored at −2°C, from June through March.

VIANSA supplies the highest-quality plants to Argentina’s major strawberry-growing regions and exports to more than fifteen countries worldwide.

Plant health

VIANSA maintains rigorous phytosanitary practices and controls to deliver healthy, certified plants to growers.

Each year, VIANSA renews its nursery with certified mother plants sourced from their countries of origin and from leading propagation programs in the United States and Europe.

Imported and locally produced plants are inspected by SENASA, while their origin and varietal authenticity are verified by INASE.
