VIANSA is a nursery licensed by Eurosemillas S.A, Florida Foundation
Seed Producers Inc., PLANASA and by California Giant Inc. The most
important strawberry varieties cultivated in Argentina have been introduced
by VIANSA, in coordination with the patent owners (Eurosemillas
S.A, Florida Foundation Seed Producers Inc., PLANASA and California
Giant Inc). Furthermore, VIANSA has contracts with European
companies to propagate varieties for private use. The licensing agreements
allow the importation of mother plants from different parts of the
world in a wide selection of varieties. The company currently manages
14 of those. In this way, VIANSA collaborates with strawberry
fruit producers to adapt each variety according to the constraints
of individual climate and market conditions. |
